Crap. Rain is now being forecast in the Daejeon and the Gunsan area for the 18th, which is Day 3 of my walk. Shit. But it looks as though it'll be sunny thereafter, so... yay?
Walking a single day in the rain shouldn't be too bad. But I do wish I had gaiters to protect my feet a bit more from the incoming wetness.
But who knows? I've seen rain forecast before, then a few days later, the forecast changes, and the rain either moves to a different day or disappears entirely. In mountainous climates, with the mountains acting as chaotic baffles, patterns change constantly, so some forecasts are not to be trusted.
I guess we'll see what happens on the trail. With my feet taped up, there should be less of a chance for blistering. But if I end up walking in rain all day, that could be a problem.
